Meet your dentist
Dr. Jared Bunker, DMD
Dr. Bunker graduated with honors from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2009, leaving Boston with his DMD, a lasting love of Boston sports teams, and a newfound appreciation for San Diego winters.
He and his wife, Brittany, were thrilled to move back to San Diego, where she grew up. Five kids later, they're still loving life and work in the community they know so well.
Dr. Bunker speaks Spanish and Portuguese and has volunteered his dental skills on medical missions in the Philippines. He's an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Diego County Dental Society — and finds real joy in combining cosmetic, restorative, and preventative care (Invisalign included) with the latest dental techniques.
When he's not improving smiles at the office, you'll likely find him at home attempting epic pillow-fort builds, painting his daughter's toes, or gearing up for a lightsaber battle. He loves any excuse for family time — especially if it involves the beach, a soccer ball, or date night with his wife.

Is $3,997 really the full price?
Yes — the $3,997 covers your consultation, 3D scan, full set of aligners, and progress check-ins. It's basically the complete Invisalign treatment, start to finish.
How long does treatment usually take?
Most Invisalign patients complete treatment in 6 to 18 months, depending on their starting position. Dr. Bunker will give you a personalized estimate at your consultation.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes — through a third-party financing partner, so you'll need to qualify. Most patients who apply are able to find a monthly plan that works for their budget.
What if I'm not a good candidate for Invisalign?
Your free consultation includes a full evaluation. If Invisalign isn't the right fit, Dr. Bunker will walk you through the alternatives that are.
Does Invisalign hurt?
Most patients feel mild pressure for a day or two after switching to a new aligner — that's just your teeth moving. It's generally far more comfortable than traditional braces, with no wires or brackets to irritate your mouth.
How is Invisalign different from braces?
Invisalign aligners are clear, removable, and far less noticeable than metal braces. You can take them out to eat, brush, and floss normally, and there's nothing wired to your teeth.
Can I eat and drink normally with Invisalign?
Yes — just remove your aligners before eating or drinking anything besides water, then brush before putting them back in. No food restrictions like you'd have with braces.
Will my insurance cover this?
If your plan includes orthodontic coverage, it can be applied toward your treatment. Bring your insurance information to your free consultation and we'll check what's covered.
Do I need to wear a retainer after treatment?
Yes — a retainer is essential to keep your new smile in place once treatment is done. That's why 4 sets of retainers are already included in your $3,997.
